Carnegie Foundation of New York Holds Policy Forum Discussing Everyday Peace Indicators


On December 13th the Carnegie Foundation of New York co-hosted an event with the International Peace Institute to discuss findings from Dr. Firchow’s new book, Reclaiming Everyday Peace: Local Voices in Measurement and Evaluation. Dr. Firchow was joined by Stephen Del Rosso, Program Director for International Peace and Security at the Carnegie Corporation of New York, Séverine Autesserre, Professor of Political Science at Barnard College, Columbia University, Michelle Breslauer, Program Director, Americas, for the Institute for Economics and Peace, and Graeme Simpson, Director of Interpeace USA for a compelling conversation about the importance of elevating local knowledge and expertise into efforts which seek to measure and support peace.
