There are decent conditions in the prisons in Colombia

dove.png

Chiqui was a spoiled little girl from a middle-class family. At 12 years old, she was already consuming marihuana and at 14, she left home supposedly in search of a better future, but it didn’t work out how she’d hoped seeing as at 20, she was working in a crack house. She was as a dealer and a thief, living on the streets. She joined a gang of robbers and robbed shops and conned loads of people. All of this got her sent to prison. She was sentenced to 14 years inside, where her rights were violated because of course basic living conditions and levels of security and sanitation are not the best, but she has had to battle and learn to live with it.
